Happy Holidays to you all

Executive Flyers staff and instructors wish all our members the happiest of holidays. Deena has been stocking the store with at least one thing that you can’t live without, so drop by and see what’s there. We have a full line of headsets, GPSs, hats, books (lots of books) and other gift items. If what you want isn’t in stock, ask Deena if she can order it for you. We’ll be closed on Christmas Eve, December 24th and Christmas Day, December 25th as well as New Years Eve and New Years day. Don’t forget to schedule ahead for planes and instructors during those days.

Online scheduling

Scheduling on the program will begin on December 15th. Please do not use on-line scheduling for any time before the 15th. It is best if you use the latest versions of either Microsoft’s Internet Explorer or Netscape 7.x, as some of the features won’t work in other browsers. Point your browser to https://login.flightschedulepro.com/SelfService/UserSignupStep2.aspx?code=11887&id=11887 in order to sign up. This will put your information in the system so that we can sign you up if you call in. Once you have signed up for the program, I have to validate your name and then you’ll be able to log on at https://login.flightschedulepro.com/login.aspx?code=11887&id=11887 from then on. You will probably want to bookmark the login page, as you’ll be using it whenever you schedule. Make sure that you sign up even if you don't plan to use on-line scheduling. Once we start using the scheduling program, calling the office will be a slow way to schedule. You will probably have to hold for some time as it takes longer for the office staff to schedule on the system than it did with the paper system. It will be much easier for you to use the scheduling program if you read the information files and the help files and look at all the different selections that you have available across the top of the screen. If you have questions on the program, please do NOT call the office. Email Ed at callaway@execflyers.com for help using the program instead. Be patient and we’ll make it work. When you use the on line scheduling program to view the schedule, make sure that you wait for the page to refresh after you choose a new view. You can also customize “Your View” so that you see the planes and the instructors that you use when you first bring up the schedule. Instructor’s times will be shown as clear areas on the schedule. A grey area means that the instructor is not available during that time. If you have trouble scheduling an instructor, email him or contact him by telephone. This system has the ability to schedule “standby” reservations. If you want to schedule a plane for a certain time and it is already reserved, you can select the “standby” box on the reservation. If the person that has the plane scheduled cancels, you will automatically be scheduled and you will be emailed.
